Halloween Dance :)

As crazy as it sounds, my school has our Halloween dance AFTER Halloween ... Yeah kinda dumb, but hey it's still a dance!

 

Ryan and I dressed up as Dairy Queen & Burger King! Kinda funny since I work at DQ ;)

No dance is EVER complete without matching Converse!

These are my beautiful best friends :) I put together the two witch costumes, by the way!

 

It was a great night, and I definately got my Gangnam Style on ;)

Halloween Festivities Continue ... Cute Costume!

I know I'm a little late, but I HAVE to blog about my Halloween costume! Super easy & super cute!

I dressed up for trick-or-treat night! (Yes, I'm probably too old, but hey it's free candy!) Anyways, I threw this Minnie Mouse costume together.

 

Ears - Recycled 'em! (My sister wore them when she was like 5...)

And of course my latest semi-splurge ... LEATHER BOMBER FROM MAURICES ($69.00)

 

I absolutely adore my new jacket. It goes with literally everything!

 

 

I was fortunate enough to trick-or-treat with a cool cat, a joker, aaand Cinderella! ;)

Halloween Festivities!

Happy Halloween, errrrybody! This is what went on at my household on the spookiest day of the year :)

 

 

My lovely mother surprised me this morning with pumpkin coffee and Halloween cinnamon rolls... Sooo yummy!

 

My sisters and I sported our Halloween hair accessories!

 

 

And... of course watching Halloween tonight!!!... Keep an eye out for Michael Myers ;)

It's Friday! Friday!

Gotta get down on fridaaaaaay... Admit it, it's catchy ;) And honestly, I couldn't be more ecstatic about the arrival of the weekend! This week was just too long...It was one of those BLAH weeks, but this weekend should be a good one!

 

Friday: Mass at school with my friends

              Cheering at the last home football game of the season

Saturday: Sleeping in (Amen)

                  dinner, church, and carving pumpkins with my boyfriend's family

Sunday: Spending the day with my fam

               carving pumpkins

               PLUS my mom is making spaghetti (WIN!)

I'm Back!!

 

Hola! Hello! Hi! Konichiwa!

I'm Back :)

After a series of crazy busy weeks, I'm back to posting! AMEN!

With work at my local DQ, school, and cheerleading, I had zero free time!

But, with Dairy Queen closed for the season (Boooo :(((  ) and cheerleading winding down, I find myself sitting here with a cup of delishh pumpkin coffee, writing this post!

 

Sooo... This is what has been up lately!

 

A few weeks ago, my school had our annual Homecoming Dance!

 

I wore a teal dress! I originally bought it as a long dress, but I'm a dancer...I need to be able to move! So, we had it tailored and made it a short dress! Also, my boyfriend and I decided to be different and wear matching CONVERSE :) So much more comfy than heels!

 

 

The dress was embellished with peacock feathers on top!

It was a great time, & Gangnam Style was definately the song of the night ;)

 

The rest of my time was spent...

 

Hiking with Ryan! (After repeatedly telling him to slow down...He is clearly in better shape than me! Haha)

 

Taking a trip to a local state park with my fam...

He made me laugh... :)

 Family!

 

 And just hanging around my house, watching Halloween movies, & eating anything and everything pumpkin!

 

I clearly have a problem... Hahaha

Keep Calm?!

 

Found this on Pinterest...it's my new obsession!

And really, it's all that has been getting me by lately...keeping calm & drinking coffee!

 

This is my typical day:

Wake up at 6, drink my coffee, get ready for school, attempt to eat a granola bar as I'm running out the door with my shoes in my hand, try to stay awake during first period, muddle through the rest of my morning classes, eat a greasy yet yummy lunch (Oh, caff food...I really need to start packing my lunch..), sit through 3 more periods, go to cheerleading practice for 2 hours, go to work until 9:30 (yay Dairy Queeeen), come home, reheat some dinner (Thank you, momma!), attempt to stay awake as I do any homework/studying that I have, aaad finally pass out on my bed around 11!

Exciting, right?

 

Due to my busy busy busy life, I haven't been able to post much :/

My schedule should be freeing up soon, though!

 

I hope you are all enjoying the beginning of this lovely fall season!
